Report II

Today we had the portabella mushroom burger for dinner. As expected, Tiffany & I had the portabellas, the rest of the family had Boca burgers, some with crimini mushrooms, some without. We also had saute'ed onions and peppers. I used this recipe for a mushroom marinade. And I have to say it was very, very good. However, I made a few minor adjustments to the recipe. I used garlic powder instead of fresh and left out the salt and pepper and cheese. I really liked my portabella burger. Tiffany only made it halfway through hers. Too much mushroom for her. I really think it was more the texture than the flavor. I will definitely make the marinade again. The marinated criminis would taste very good over spaghetti and marinara.
